Why did I do it?  I honestly can't say - it was a moment of madness, I just fancied a change I suppose.

The red 'perm' kit was easy to do, Jane put the stuff on my hair and sealed it in with cling film.  I remember that my head got very hot!

The first time we did it the result was a bit dissapointing - but after the SECOND perm it really went VERY red as you can see. 

I got an amazing reaction from people at work - the couldn't believe that I had dyed my hair red.

What did I plant today?

Years ago jane and I lived at a property in Gloucester.  The front garden was very plain and Jane planted two tiny saplings.  Just today I looked, out of curiosity, on Google Maps Street View, at the property as it looks today.

See how those two trees have grown!

This made me wonder what I planted today that will be amazing in 20 or 25 years time...
